This role supports children who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing by providing outreach consultation, assessment services, and professional development for families, district personnel, and community members.

Responsibilities include offering consultation and technical assistance, recommending resources, and collaborating with service providers such as speech and physical therapists. The position organizes and leads Cadre meetings for DHH teachers, offers professional learning opportunities, and coordinates regional or campus events aligned with State Standards and the Expanded Core Curriculum. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A valid Kentucky Professional Certificate for Teaching Exceptional Children-Hearing Impaired, Grades Primary Through 12 and/or Communication Disorders or a similar license from anther state. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. A minimum of three years of experience working with students who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing.
