We are looking for a hands-on person to work in the coating application area of the facility. The person will take improvement ideas from conception to implementation. Will work on capital projects from justification, specification, purchasing, installation to debugging. Equipment involved is mixing, roll coating, curtain coating, silk screening, ovens, and environmental controls. Write ISO procedures and instructions including APQP. Direct and lead improvement teams.

Most coatings are developed at division level, but the person must be able to understand, implement, and improve them as necessary.

BS in Chemical Engineering or BS in Mechanical Engineering with Chemical minor. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - able to communicate with internal and external groups. Proven computer skills in Windows based programs and CAD. Ability to work in an ISO/QS based environment. Preferred strong team player. Previous experience with polymers, PTFE, and rubber compounds preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
