Quality Manager

Overview

Owen Daniels are proud to be partnered with a global Aerospace manufacturing business in their search for a Site Quality Manager. The company is a leader supplying precision engineered solutions across multiple sectors, with their Aerospace division supplying both defense civil and aviation.

• Own all Quality function matters for the site, spanning distribution and manufacturing operations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Quality across operations with deep knowledge of production and quality processes.
• Drive quality oversight for work transfers and supplier onboarding initiatives.
• Track and analyze quality performance data; generate management reports and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Lead AS9100 audit readiness and compliance activities.
• Build a culture centered on true root cause analysis and lasting corrective actions
• Develop team structure, provide coaching and mentorship, and establish succession plans.
• Champion continuous improvement efforts and lead problem-solving investigations through RCCA methodology.

• Strong problem solving/root cause tools - e.g. Fishbone, 5 Whys, 8
  
  Ds
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years experience within Quality, ideally Aerospace or Automotive
• APQP/PPAP highly desirable
• Ideally Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
