Production Operator - Night Shift

Job Description

How you’ll perform the role. Beginning as a Production Operator, you will learn the basics. Then you will begin to understand the production systems we use, learn about film quality and food quality, resins, customer specifications, packaging, and many more critical items on your way to becoming a successful operator. This is a multi‑task position job where you will learn several activities.

• Review production orders and stage all raw materials.
• Remove finished goods from the production area and prepare, package, and palletize film rolls according to order specifications.
• Complete, inspect, and label finished goods, WIP, and scrap as specified.
• Complete inventory processing to account for finished goods, WIP, raw materials, packaging supplies, and scrap materials.
• Enter work order data/move tickets into the production system via scanning, data entry, or similar means.
• Ensure finished goods packaging is defect‑free and meets shipping requirements.
• Operate the robotic film line as needed and fill in for breaks.

• Basic math and measurement‑taking skills.
• Good computer aptitude and experience.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and provide overtime coverage for off‑shift when needed (36‑48 hour bi‑weekly work weeks).
• Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Desire for an assignment that keeps you busy, is less repetitive, and requires engagement and teamwork.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Swing shift work schedule.
• Prior forklift certification preferred.
