As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Danville, KY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for shoppers and staff. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including storefront areas, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.
• Support retail operations by assisting with security-related concerns such as lost and found inquiries, directional assistance, and coordination with site contacts during emergencies and/or unusual events.

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
