HVAC Service Technician

Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to provide residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality services. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related controls while delivering safe, dependable, and energy-efficient solutions. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, recommending repairs or upgrades, and educating customers on system operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify necessary repairs or replacements
• Install and configure HVAC components and indoor air quality products
• Test system performance, verify safe operation, and ensure code compliance
• Communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Provide customer-first service and support long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with team members to meet schedules and service quality standards
