Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Pharmaceutical Contractor in the Montgomery County, PA area on their search for a Accounting Coordinator.
The Accounting Coordinator supports the daily execution and stabilization of the client's accounting function across multiple operating entities. This role is responsible for accurate transactional entry, payroll support, vendor invoice coordination, and maintaining system integrity between Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Quick Books Online (QBO
). This position is execution-focused and process-driven, providing essential support to ensure reliable financial data, timely payroll and payments, and reduced rework during month-end close.
- Enter payroll data accurately and in accordance with established schedules
- Assist with labor allocation and job cost mapping
- Support payroll review and reconciliation processes
- Identify and elevate payroll discrepancies promptly
- Perform AP and AR data entry as required
- Ensure transactions are coded accurately and consistently
- Assist with invoice tracking, documentation, and follow-up
- Support billing documentation and project setup as needed
- Serve as a support resource for vendors and subcontractors using Autodesk Construction
- Assist vendors with invoice submission and documentation requirements
- Review daily synchronization activity between ACC and Quick Books Online (QBO)
- Identify, research, and resolve sync errors or data discrepancies
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for system corrections
- Assist with month-end close preparation and reconciliations
- Support cleanup of transactional errors prior to close
- Follow documented close procedures and timelines
- Coordinate with Accounting, Procurement, and Operations teams
- Follow established processes and escalation paths
- Communicate clearly when information is missing, inconsistent, or unclear
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work within defined processes and procedures
- Comfort working in accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Ability to identify issues and elevate appropriately
