Overview
OCF Realty is a leading property management firm based in Philadelphia that is committed to providing exceptional services across a diverse portfolio of residential properties. We are currently seeking a Seasonal Leasing Assistant to support our applications team Saturday through Tuesday from March through September. This role focuses on processing rental applications, preparing application packets, and communicating with prospective tenants. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your administrative skills while gaining hands-on experience with a local property management company.
This position offers a rate of $18-$19 an hour, commensurate with experience and includes accrued sick leave and unpaid holidays.
- Process rental applications, including running credit/background reports and uploading them to applicant portals.
- Organize completed applications and supporting documentation for internal review.
- Prepare physical and digital application packets for review (printing, folder creation, and email submission).
- Coordinate with the internal reviewer (Ori) to gather feedback on applications.
- Communicate with applicants to collect additional information when needed.
- Assist with presenting finalized applications to property owners for approval.
- Prepare and send approval & adverse action/denial emails as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with repetitive administrative tasks and document handling
- Experience using Google Workspace (G Suite) in a professional setting
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong written communication skills
- Able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Are organized and able to manage multiple applications, documents, and deadlines without missing details.
- Are tech savvy and comfortable navigating applicant portals, shared drives, and Google Workspace tools.
- Are able to work independently and as a team
