Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) – ATCS

Location:

Harrisburg, PA and surrounding areas.

• Lead inspections on transportation construction projects including highways, bridges, environmental, traffic, and facilities.
• Write daily progress reports.
• Oversee contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents and safe construction practices.
• Document materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments.
• Report on‑site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, including calculation and determination of pay quantities.

• Minimum experience and certification criteria for PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor Level 1.
• Knowledge of PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards.
• Mathematics knowledge including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to travel to job sites and meetings; valid driver’s license required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in Site Manager or other project management software.

Competitive hourly rate: $29.58 to $33.82, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Overtime and an annual bonus (target 2% of salary) are available.
