A large healthcare system in Southeastern Pennsylvania has growing needs for their site in York. Neurohospitalists, Movement Disorders subspecialists, and Epileptologists would all complement the current team well. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing system with a flexible and supportive administration.

Outpatient Details:

  • No hospital or stroke call
  • Non-burdensome patient call, currently 1:7 and growing to 1:10
  • Patient call weeknights, with answering service taking first call
  • Level 3 Epilepsy Center
  • If you wish to have inpatient responsibilities, there is the opportunity to have some hospital coverage while neurohospitalist is on vacation
  • Value quality patient care over quantity – flexible with patient scheduling
  • Walk into office, medical assistant, and nursing support and a huge demand in the area
  • The system has a shared governance with the physicians – have your input heard and valued

    • Neurohospitalist Details:

  • 4 9-hour shifts per week
  • Teleneurology service takes call 5p-7a
  • Join team of 3 neurohospitalists and 2 APPs
  • Day is mix of stroke call for entire system and consults at main hospital
  • The system has a shared governance with the physicians – have your input heard and valued
  • 10-bed NSICU
