As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric care by conducting clinical examinations, obtaining medical histories, and diagnosing mental illnesses to implement appropriate treatment plans. Your duties will include performing daily unit rounds to monitor patient progress and maintaining detailed documentation, such as diagnostic evaluations and prognostic reports. You will administer various psychotherapeutic methods, including somatic, group, and milieu therapy, while managing medication and ordering necessary laboratory or diagnostic tests.

Furthermore, you will facilitate referrals to social, vocational, and educational services and develop clinical programs to ensure high-quality patient care. Serving as the Treatment Team Director, you will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure the seamless execution of comprehensive treatment plans.

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
• Overtime as operationally necessary

• Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

• You must possess a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
