Position: Full-Time Community Banking Associate - Danville

Overview

Full-Time Community Banking Associate — on-site at the Danville Community Office in Danville, PA.

The Community Banking Associate performs a variety of duties to support the paying and receiving functions of the community office, coordinates work within the department, reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, and responds to inquiries or requests for information.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Accept deposits, cash checks and process utility bill payments.
  • Sell treasurer checks, money orders, and other bank products.
  • Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent and other related payments.
  • Process night deposits and mail deposits.
  • Maintain awareness of new business opportunities with customers and actively refer customers to appropriate customer service personnel.
  • Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, and the Bank s compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act).
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking education or training.
  • Previous banking or other customer service experience preferred.
  • Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills, as well as analytical and math skills.
  • Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills; must be professional and courteous.
  • Proficient eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to operate various office machines.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver s license with reliable transportation.
Hours

Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, 37.5 hours per week, based on Danville Community Office Hours.
