Reviews written prescriptions and drug orders and prepares, dispenses and records prescriptions and drug compounds with a high level of accuracy. Reviews patient medication profiles to assure quality and safe pharmacy service.
- Requires a graduate of an approved college of pharmacy;
- PA registration and license as a pharmacist;
- Practical knowledge of parenteral medications and aseptic techniques required;
- Ability to work independently required;
- Works as a team member with other Pharmacists, Technicians and professionals of other disciplines to meet patient care needs.
