UPMC Northwest is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support the Hospitalist Department.
Hours: 7 days on, 7 days off - Five 12-hour shifts and Two 10-hour shifts
Location: UPMC Northwest
Position Specifics: The primary responsibility is hospital rounding.
Department Details: It is a very supportive work environment. We work closely with nursing staff, specialty departments, and discharge planning to provide high standards of patient care and safety. We see a diverse patient population with a wide variety of cases, offering rich clinical experience.

The APP (Physician Assistant or CRNP) is part of the care team, responsible for setting care standards and providing patient care through supervision and collaboration with physicians. The role involves leadership, partnership, and supervision, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be placed based on experience levels.
The candidate's placement will consider years and months of experience for employment purposes.
