• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Vocational or other formal culinary education is preferred.
• Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation is required.
• Serv Safe Certification is preferred.
• Position also requires excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and reliable attendance.
• Experience with cooking and meal prep in an institutional setting is preferred.
