experience. The Operations Team is a matrix organization within Beyond Meat that is dedicated to creating food products that are as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist.

The EHS Specialist supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe working environment. This role partners with site leadership and cross-functional teams to support safety initiatives, training, and continuous improvement efforts across the facility. This role will be responsible to ensure all facilities and reports are in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

** TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
** Support the implementation and maintenance of employee health and safety programs in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with monitoring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company EHS requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned and complete tasks in a timely manner.
** QUALIFICATIONS*
* ** Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous

Experience:

** Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
** 3+ years of EHS experience
** in a food manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience delivering safety training and supporting SOP development. Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Experience with hazardous waste management and behavior-based safety programs preferred.

** Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills Excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to efficiently organize information, analyze large datasets, and present data in a clear and impactful manner High-level ability to build strong relationships and influence technical, business, and operational decisions Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Position requires the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, step, balance, crouch, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.,
