DescriptionWeCare at Sycamore is actively seeking a motivated Dietitian for our community in Montoursville, PA. Our Dietitian is responsible for ensuring the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Will assist Dietary Manager in all operations of the dietary department as needed
- At least 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
- Must be a Registered Dietitian
- Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
- Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments
- Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
- Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Serv Safe certification preferred but not required
