Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior QA Tester with over a decade of hands-on experience in software quality assurance. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to design, execute, and oversee end-to-end testing processes, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and leadership in driving quality across complex, enterprise-grade systems.

Quality Assurance Strategy:

Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans for complex projects.

Testing Execution:

Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to ensure full test coverage.

Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools.

Automation:

Design and maintain robust automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms.

Optimize existing test automation frameworks and ensure scalability.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Mentor and guide junior QA testers, fostering a culture of quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to improve software delivery processes.

Reporting and Documentation:

Provide clear and concise QA metrics, test reports, and defect status updates to stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation of test cases, procedures, and test environments.

10+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.

Expertise in testing enterprise-grade applications across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Appium).

Solid understanding of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.

Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr).

Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.

Thorough understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
