About The OpportunityThis role is responsible for developing strategic product marketing plans for our Corporate Brand/s, working closely with senior stakeholders, regional teams, product, Brand Marketing & PR/Communications, Customer Success, Account Management, Operations, and Sales. The role will craft product/solution market-facing messaging and positioning to drive new customer sales, product adoption, and retention.
The role guides insight-led product strategy and communicates market positioning, product messaging, and competitive differentiation of our solutions to target audiences. It manages the process of bringing solutions to market, including crafting positioning and messaging, GTM planning with related activities, and ensuring all prospects and existing clients understand the offerings. The role aims to drive demand and usage of solutions and ensure the voice of the customer is used within the full product lifecycle.
By leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement, the role will understand client personas and buying criteria to inform the product roadmap.
Key to success is collaborating with Brand Marketing & Communications, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product Managers, Subject Matter Owners, Implementation & Operations, and External Partners & Clients to launch new products and feature releases. The role leads assigned product marketers for the brand portfolio, ensuring annual plans and performance align with Brand Business OKRs, and drives efficient ways of working while upholding FCTG values.
Responsibilities- Positioning & Messaging:
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions through market research and competitive analysis. - Sales and Marketing Tools:
Create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and training materials to communicate value propositions. - Product Launches & High-Value Releases:
Plan market launches with internal teams and external partners, and manage cross-functional GTM plan implementation. - Communications:
Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Training, Operations, Deployment, Enablement, Brand Marketing and PR to broadcast messages internally and externally. - Market Intelligence:
Be the expert on clients, buyer personas, buying criteria, and competitive landscape. - Demand Generation:
Support Brand marketing programs that create interest across market segments. - Industry Leadership:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and webinars where appropriate.
- 7+ years of mid- to senior-level product marketing experience, or relevant FCTG product/technology experience.
- Preferred: experience in innovative technology organizations with a SaaS background; strong understanding of the FCTG business model and related product/technology areas.
- Experience in product lifecycle/customer lifecycle management and new product development methodologies.
- Experience in customer lifecycle marketing through digital touchpoints and marketing automation; experience in new product development, adoption and growth strategies.
- Experience preparing pitches for industry analysts and working with senior stakeholders in sales/value-driven environments.
- Experience in analytics and insights, with ability to track and apply customer research methodologies to drive improvements across channels.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
