• The RN Pediatric Procedural Sedation assesses, plans, organizes, performs and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of pediatric patients receiving procedural sedation.
• Provides health education to parents and patients pre and post sedation.
• Initiates and interprets hemodynamic monitoring parameters.
• Coordinates efforts of the multidisciplinary team in planning patient care.
• Evaluates effectiveness of sedation plan.
• This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; 10-hour shifts; 7:00 a.m.
  
  - 5:30 p.m.
• A minimum of 3 years RN work experience is required; previous experience in Pediatrics and Procedural Sedation is strongly preferred.
• Collaborates with the department secretary to schedule procedures.
• Reviews patients medical record for sedation risk assessment criteria.
• Participates in the teams Performance Improvement activities.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
