Job Summary
Advanced Acute Care Inpatient RN (1+ year experience) 36‑40 hour weeks, rotational shift coverage, $41.00 minimum rate with higher incentives for experienced candidates and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities- Assesses, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patients’ needs.
- Promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Exhibits compassionate care during patient‑nurse interactions.
- Coordinates patient care and staff interaction, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
- Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Provides direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policy.
- Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based on patient response.
- Initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team, proactively resolving patient needs.
- Problem‑solves, troubleshoots, and corrects issues with equipment.
- Participates in unit-based decision‑making regarding evidence‑based practice.
- Actively engages as a team member toward unit and organizational goals, monitoring metrics.
- Participates in patient quality and safety education programs and other initiatives to improve quality and safety.
- Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
- 1+ year advanced acute care or inpatient RN experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Clinical skills, communication, interpersonal skills, organization, preceptor skills, teamwork.
