Summary:

Supports clinical research by coordinating multiple studies and trials within inpatient and outpatient settings. Assesses patient eligibility for protocols and collects data under physician supervision, including patient interactions in clinics and hospitals.

• Coordinates and implements clinical research studies, preparing IRB submissions and overseeing reporting obligations.
• Responsible for trial conduct, including recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up of eligible participants.
• Develops recruitment strategies, interviews subjects, and collaborates with physicians for enrollment.
• Performs nursing assessments, monitors patients for adverse events, and administers study drugs as directed.
• Reviews medical records, evaluates patient suitability for trials, and collaborates with investigators and staff.
• Creates training tools for staff, monitors lab results, and reports findings to the principal investigator.
• Informs the investigator of patient care issues, ensures proper billing, and educates staff on research protocols.
• Reviews financial statements and provides patient and family education on study protocols, risks, and benefits.
• Serves as liaison between investigators and sponsors, adapting protocols to local settings.

Requires graduation from a specialty training program; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Strong collaboration, communication, and assessment skills are essential.
