• Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Promote adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve high levels of care and safety.
• Provide compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
• Coordinate patient care and staff interactions.
• Deliver care for patients in the assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure the best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions.
• Complete assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Formulate, coordinate, and provide plans of care per unit standards, including education, family needs, and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policy and procedure.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise plans based on patient response.
• Initiate collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Problem solve, troubleshoot, and take corrective measures in the care and handling of equipment.
• Participate in unit-based decision-making regarding evidence-based practice.
• Act as a team member working toward unit and organizational goals, accountable for metrics.
• Participate in patient quality and safety education programs and related activities.
• Comply with all organization policies, procedures, and job-specific obligations.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from Specialty Training Program - Nursing (Required).
• Experience:
  
  Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body).
• License(s):
  Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) -  of Pennsylvania.
• Skills:
