• Perform daily registered nurse functions in the Echo Lab Department.
• Participate in nursing activities necessary for acquisition of echo cardiographic, stress testing, and advanced imaging examinations.
• Administer medications during adult conscious sedation and pharmacological stress testing.
• Assess patient responses to medications and testing per protocols and document information in the medical record.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and information are present for procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, review history of allergies and medication list, and assess physical status.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure and ensure pre‑test instructions are followed.
• Apply and monitor monitoring equipment and vital signs.
• Perform emergency procedures when necessary.
• Transport equipment to patient bedside when needed.
• Start and regulate oxygen for patients.
• Monitor conscious sedation patients until transfer.
• Assist with orientation of personnel and students.
• Assist in approved research activities as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN work experience.
• Certified Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Preferred experience in CCU or telemetry.

• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Moderate Sedation Certification within 1 year of hire.
