LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – Acute Care Medical Unit

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a modern adult acute care unit.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on scope of practice and standards.
• Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforcing education, discharge planning, and supporting patient safety and satisfaction.
• Providing direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Participating in evidence-based practice decisions and mentoring new staff and students.

Qualifications and Skills: Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, compassionate care approach, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Additional Details: Full-time position with flexible self-scheduling, working 36 hours per week on day shifts, with every other weekend and holiday.
