Registered Nurse – Acute Care Medical

Role Overview:

This position is for a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric medical/surgical care. The nurse will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, deliver direct patient treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, family-centered care.

• Conduct assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Formulate and coordinate care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures per policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and team members to meet patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices.

Graduate from a nursing specialty training program, with clinical competency in pediatric care. The role requires flexibility in rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
