Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a specialized medical/transplant unit, focusing on patient assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation. Engages in evidence-based practice, collaborates with healthcare team members, troubleshoots equipment issues, and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests following policies.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care accordingly.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff to meet patient needs.
- Participate in unit decision-making and safety programs, contributing to quality improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a recognized nursing program (Required).
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
