This is a full-time Inpatient RN position on a 24-bed advanced acute care unit, providing complex care for patients with conditions like pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and sepsis. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet patient needs, promoting safety, compassionate care, and positive patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
- Deliver direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs and troubleshoot equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives, contributing to unit and organizational metrics.
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Experience with telemetry and acute care is preferred.
