- Sell Stryker Trauma products that meet customers’ needs
- Become the resident trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals
- Organize materials and quickly sort possible solutions during operating/emergency room consultations
- Manage and maintain product inventory
- Assist customers whenever trauma cases arise
- Build credibility with surgeons through knowledge of Stryker products and competitors’ offerings
- Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives
- Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required
- Support trauma cases through an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
- 3+ years of sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships; experience with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial
- Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
- Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (Adva Med)
- Must maintain privacy and confidentiality of information, protect organizational assets, act with ethics and integrity, report non-compliance, and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements, and company policies
- Ability to support an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
Demonstrates expertise in Stryker Trauma products and effective sales techniques while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals. Capable of managing product inventory and providing training in high-pressure environments, ensuring compliance and ethical standards are met.
