Security Officer Access Screening Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

Daytime Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by following site‑specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or vendor logs and help to control access to restricted areas within the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions, and helping to deter security‑related issues through visible presence and professional communication.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
