As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Screening in Danville, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns using a computer or tablet.

Pay Rate:$18.00 / Hour
Age Requirement:- All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101) at the time of application.
Experience:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115). This experience should be relevant to the position being applied for and may include roles in security personnel, surveillance, or related fields.
- Applicants must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and digital reporting tools essential for the role.
Experience:
- Candidates should have prior experience with X-ray screening (B218). This requirement is crucial for positions that involve security screening processes, ensuring that applicants are equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role effectively.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and compliance with facility protocols.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to supervisors and site personnel.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
