Job Description Bridge Construction Superintendent Position Summary

We are looking for an accomplished Bridge Construction Superintendent to lead intricate bridge construction and rehabilitation projects. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in managing bridge construction operations, including structural repairs, concrete work, piling operations, and marine-related construction activities. This role demands exceptional leadership, scheduling, and field coordination skills to ensure successful project delivery in a safe, timely, and budget-conscious manner.

• Lead daily field operations for bridge construction and repair projects
• Supervise teams, subcontractors, equipment, and activities on the project site
• Coordinate various bridge construction tasks such as concrete work, structural steel installation, formwork, demolition, and piling operations
• Oversee marine construction activities when applicable
• Guarantee project completion adhering to safety, efficiency, plans, and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and governmental agencies
• Track project schedules, productivity, quality control, and safety adherence
• Facilitate site meetings, safety briefings, and project progress reports
• Organize labor, equipment, and materials to align with project schedules
• Address and resolve field challenges promptly to maintain project momentum

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing bridge construction and repair projects
• Expertise in working with complex bridge structures, rehabilitation, and heavy civil construction
• Experience in marine construction and piling is highly desirable
• In-depth knowledge of bridge construction techniques, safety regulations, and project sequencing
• Adept at reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Proven experience managing multiple teams and subcontractors in dynamic construction settings
• OSHA certifications or additional safety training is a plus
• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to project locations as needed
