Qualifications:- Active Virginia Special Education Teacher license (Adaptive or General Curriculum)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
- Demonstrated commitment to individualized education and inclusive practices
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs within adaptive and general curriculum classrooms
- Provide specialized instruction, utilizing evidence-based strategies and interventions
- Assess and monitor student progress, documenting growth and adjusting plans as necessary
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and education professionals to enhance student outcomes
- Foster an engaging, respectful, and supportive classroom environment for diverse learners
- Immediate start, assignment through May 21, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Focus on elementary caseload (K-5), with student numbers varying based on need
