Job DescriptionCOORDINATOR/TUTOR JOB DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
The Danville Church & Community Tutorial Program thank you for your interest in being a TUTOR with our program. Our program is targeted for students in grades k - 12. It is a dedicated initiative designed to provide specialized support in reading and math. Our program is for certified teachers and individuals with a four-year college degree or two-year associate degrees.
We are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed academically.
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the COORDINATOR/TUTOR will plan, organize, and implement the appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential in reading and math.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInstruct students according to appropriate curriculum, provide homework assistance, and support in the use of math/reading programs. Provide support in the implementation of lessons in keeping with school district and state education requirements, keeping records of student achievement, and tracking their abilities. Work in collaboration with staff, and other tutors. Comply with and enforce policy & procedures as needed. Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.
Perform other duties and assignments as appointed based on student and program needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40-$50 per hour for the 2026 - 2027 school year
