Position:
Credit Solutions Advisor II (Mortgage Origination)

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate loans for clients with residential mortgage needs.
  • Deliver First Mortgage, HELOC, Auto Loans, Credit Cards and Core Banking products in person or by telephone.
  • Balance sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care.
  • Provide personalized service and guidance through full spectrum of borrowing and banking offerings.
  • Build and deepen client relationships, recommend financial services aligned to client priorities.
  • Present home lending product solutions, submit mortgage applications, assist clients gather supporting documentation, and keep them informed throughout the process.
  • Conduct outreach and pipeline management, consistent follow-up to meet client needs.
  • Respond to client requests, refer to appropriate internal partners.
  • Partner with financial center leaders, performance managers, and market leaders to provide guidance and coaching to associates.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of mortgage origination experience or equivalent experience demonstrating assessment of client needs, leadership, trust building, and consultative sales.
  • Active listening skills and desire to interact proactively with clients.
  • Professional, effective, and confident communication in person and over the phone.
  • Critical thinking to analyze financial and credit data, advise clients.
  • Excellent customer service skills, managing full client end‑to‑end experience and problem resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven, performance‑oriented with strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
  • Team player and collaborator, translating knowledge into strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to learn and understand technology.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, thorough regulatory due diligence, compliance with Federal and State policies.
  • Requirement to register with the federal SAFE Act registry and pass required background check.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a loan origination role in a retail environment and knowledge of Mortgage Products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government).
  • Knowledge of credit and home lending requirements.
  • Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide alternatives.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Solid time‑management skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of structuring, processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Federal regulations governing real estate lending, FHA and HUD guidelines.
  • Experience with other lending products (Credit Card, Vehicle Loans).
  • Strong computer and MS Office skills.
Education and Work Schedule

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

Hours per week: 40

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $29.61, dependent on experience, education, and skill set.

Eligible for formulaic incentive plan and benefits per role.
