Job Description
Position:
Credit Solutions Advisor II (Mortgage Origination)
- Originate loans for clients with residential mortgage needs.
- Deliver First Mortgage, HELOC, Auto Loans, Credit Cards and Core Banking products in person or by telephone.
- Balance sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care.
- Provide personalized service and guidance through full spectrum of borrowing and banking offerings.
- Build and deepen client relationships, recommend financial services aligned to client priorities.
- Present home lending product solutions, submit mortgage applications, assist clients gather supporting documentation, and keep them informed throughout the process.
- Conduct outreach and pipeline management, consistent follow-up to meet client needs.
- Respond to client requests, refer to appropriate internal partners.
- Partner with financial center leaders, performance managers, and market leaders to provide guidance and coaching to associates.
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage origination experience or equivalent experience demonstrating assessment of client needs, leadership, trust building, and consultative sales.
- Active listening skills and desire to interact proactively with clients.
- Professional, effective, and confident communication in person and over the phone.
- Critical thinking to analyze financial and credit data, advise clients.
- Excellent customer service skills, managing full client end‑to‑end experience and problem resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven, performance‑oriented with strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
- Team player and collaborator, translating knowledge into strong relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to learn and understand technology.
- Commitment to professional ethics, thorough regulatory due diligence, compliance with Federal and State policies.
- Requirement to register with the federal SAFE Act registry and pass required background check.
- Experience in a loan origination role in a retail environment and knowledge of Mortgage Products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government).
- Knowledge of credit and home lending requirements.
- Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded.
- Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide alternatives.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Solid time‑management skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Understanding of structuring, processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
- Knowledge of Federal regulations governing real estate lending, FHA and HUD guidelines.
- Experience with other lending products (Credit Card, Vehicle Loans).
- Strong computer and MS Office skills.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
Hours per week: 40
Compensation and BenefitsHourly Pay: $25.00 – $29.61, dependent on experience, education, and skill set.
Eligible for formulaic incentive plan and benefits per role.
