The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient execution of HR processes and programs. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance activities. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees, helping to answer HR-related questions and maintain a positive employee experience.
How You Will Create the ExtraordinaryAssistwithHRadministrativetasks,includingmaintainingemployeerecords,processing paperwork,andmanagingHRdatabases.
PrepareHR-related documents,suchasemploymentcontracts,offer letters,andterminationletters.
Supportthecoordinationof HRprogramsandinitiatives,includingemployeeengagementactivities, training sessions,andperformanceevaluations.
Overseethegaminglicenseprogramforemployees,ensuringcompliancewithgamingindustryregulations.
Liaisewithregulatoryagenciestoaddresslicensinginquiriesandensuretimelyprocessingofapplications.
Assistwiththeonboardingprocessfornewhires,includingcoordinatingbackgroundchecks,drug screenings,andreferencechecks.
Ensureallrequiredpaperworkiscompletedaccuratelyandinatimelymanner.
Conductorientationsessionsfornewemployees,providingthemwithnecessaryinformationandmaterials.
AssistwithHRIS dataentry,includingnewhires,terminations,andemployeechanges.
Stayupdatedonemploymentlawsandregulations,ensuringcomplianceinHRpractices.
AssistwithHRauditsandcompliancechecks.
Additional duties as assigned.
What You Will NeedBachelor'sdegreein
Human
Resources,Business Administration,orarelatedfieldispreferred.
Minimumof 2yearsofexperienceinHRadministrationorasimilarrole.
Familiaritywithgamingindustryregulationsandlicensingprocessesishighlydesirable.
Strongorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail.
Abilitytohandlesensitiveandconfidentialinformation.
Strong problem-solvingandtimemanagementabilities.
Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyina team environment.
Abilitytohandlesensitiveandconfidentialinformation.
Mustbeabletoobtainandmaintaina Virginia Lottery Gaming License .
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Wage $21.00 per hour
