Job Description:
Our client is seeking an HVAC Service Manager to lead the residential HVAC service department, with full ownership of technician performance, customer experience, and daily KPI execution. This is a hands-on, lead-from-the-front role focused on coaching, process adherence, and accountability.
Success in this role is driven by developing and mentoring technicians, increasing sold hours and departmental revenue, improving lead flips to the sales team, and proactively preventing customer escalations through strong leadership, follow-through, and consistent execution of established processes.
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience leading a field service team
- Ability to coach technicians on execution, customer communication, and consistency in the home.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, and service reporting-comfortable turning data into actions and coaching plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; calm, clear, and credible under pressure.
- Base = $65k - $70k
- Variable Bonus: $10k-$20k
- Projected Year 1 Earnings = $75k -$90k
