At Litehouse Foods, we’re looking for a transformational Director of Plant Operations to lead our Danville, VA manufacturing facility and shape the future of our operations. What You’ll Do- Lead all plant operations to deliver on safety, quality, production, and financial performance
- Build, coach, and develop high‑performing teams and frontline leaders
- Champion a culture of safety, food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost performance
- Manage plant budgets, capital planning, and long‑term investment strategy
- Analyze performance metrics and P&L to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
- Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, HR, and Sales to achieve business goals
- Lead capital projects, facility upgrades, and capacity expansion initiatives
- Strengthen employee engagement and reinforce our employee‑owner culture
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years proven leadership experience in food manufacturing or related industry
- Strong business acumen and experience managing plant financial performance
- Deep knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, PCQI, etc.)
- Experience leading through change and driving continuous improvement
- Ability to inspire teams, build trust, and hold leaders accountable
