Manufacturing Operations Manager – Packaging Automation (Onsite)

You'll work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production Leadership to execute strategic initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations while developing long‑range operational strategies that support continued business growth.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Operations Managers, Engineers, Maintenance, Production Supervisors, and manufacturing personnel.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, waste elimination, and productivity enhancement initiatives throughout the operation.
• Drive capacity expansion projects, process improvements, and operational efficiencies to support increasing customer demand.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement new manufacturing processes, systems, and best practices while ensuring projects remain on schedule.
• Evaluate new technologies and manufacturing methods that improve operational performance and competitiveness.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑accountability culture focused on employee engagement and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining world‑class manufacturing standards.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 or more years of Manufacturing Leadership experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑shift/multi‑site production environment.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing high‑performing manufacturing teams.
• Current or Recent Experience in an FDA‑regulated manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, capacity planning, operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting high‑speed automated manufacturing operations within industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, tobacco, consumer packaged goods, or similar.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, throughput optimization, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to make effective decisions, solve complex operational challenges, and successfully lead change in a growing manufacturing organization.
