Registered Nurse (RN), House Supervisor – Nights

Sign‑on Bonus: $20,000 eligibility

Schedule: 3‑12 hour shifts (7P‑7A)

Job Location Type: In Person

• Assess patient acuity and implement staffing plan based on patient census and available staff.
• Lead the patient care team on the designated shift; complete leadership rounds; assess patient care requirements on each unit; make patient/room/bed assignments.
• Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems and identifying/solving administrative or operational problems.
• Provide follow‑up, documentation, and communication of incidents to the appropriate manager or director; report significant incidents to the administrator on‑call.
• Assume responsibility for staff discipline while on duty; monitor staff performance and offer solutions to improve performance.

• Current VA RN license (or compact state).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• AHA ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
