Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner; providing a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; sharing shift‑management responsibilities with other staff; providing direct case management services to individuals, conducting medication education, and performing necessary documentation; assisting individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills;
delivering medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotation basis; participating in on‑call rotation.
- Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
- At least one year of experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
- Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Agency maintains a drug‑free workplace.
Annual salary range: $58,103 - $100,853
Sign on bonus: $5,000
