- Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 per year

- Job Type: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you a Family Nurse Practitioner looking for a specialized clinical environment with a predictable schedule? We areis seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide clinical oversight for our Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) in Danville.
In this pivotal role, you will be the clinical anchor for our infusion services—managing patient safety, overseeing complex therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide life-changing care for patients with chronic disease states.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)- Clinical Oversight: Directly oversee the administration of infusion therapies in the AIC, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
- ADR Management: Assist with and manage adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to ensure immediate patient stability and safety.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work seamlessly alongside RNs, fellow NPs, and MDs to deliver holistic care. - Protocol Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols as needed.
- Continuous Learning: Maintain expert knowledge of existing and emerging infusion therapies and chronic disease states.
- Operational Support: Perform nursing functions when required and travel to other regional AICs for staffing coverage when necessary.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state of Virginia.
- Experience: Strong background in a family physician setting with deep knowledge of chronic disease states.
- Certifications: Current BLS (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). - Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and productive under pressure in an ambiguous, changing environment.
