Oversee perishable department operations including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery products;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels and manage inventory using store-specific guides;
Train associates in proper handling, presentation, freshness, and pricing standards for perishable areas;
Assist in scheduling coverage and monitor staff performance;
Record perishable markdowns and supervise sanitation and safety compliance.
