As a General Manager for Domino’s you have full control of your store. Scheduling, Food Orders, Coke Orders, Inventory, Hiring, Training. If you train a good management team to have your back and progress them through training levels your Assistants can take some of those tasks off your back. If you are looking for a leadership role in the business industry this job is great for you!
You get to create your own schedule and compete to run costs in your region. Your Area Supervisor is there to assist and push you to meet goals. You get to build the culture inside your store. Being a previous General Manager myself this was one of my favorite parts! I hired and trained my people to succeed and meet goals.
I always kept it competitive and we had each other’s backs!
Must be willing to work Nights and weekends GMs are required to work at their store at least Thursday through Sunday rush to close.
Domino’s is an amazing career to pursue because the opportunities are endless. Move out of state, guess what there’s probably a Domino’s! Wanna move up? Excel at your current position and the opportunities will begin presenting itself.
You would be trained as an Assistant Manager unless you already have Domino’s General Manager experience. The Assistant Manager pay is $15-$17.50 an hour. Once a certified GM, you would be offered $900 a week. After 90 days you may be able to increase your weekly pay depending on the store location up to $1150 a week.
This job does require a lot and isn’t for those who just want to boss people around. You still have to do everything including cleaning and making pizzas. You set the example and the pace for your store.
