Responsibilities

Provides various vocational services to enhance the employability of individuals with mental illnesses and co‑occurring disorders. The goal is to enhance recovery through competitive employment in community work settings. Services include job development, ongoing support to individuals actively seeking employment or who have been hired, assistance in pursuing education and training, coordination of assessment and work adjustment activities with the Department of Rehabilitative Services, and development of opportunities for supported employment or volunteer work.

Other duties as assigned.

• M1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or other approved Human Services degree OR Certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia
• M2: One year of clinical experience within the past seven years providing mental health services
• M3: Must meet Medicaid requirements for Qualified Mental Health Provider
• M4: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
• Agency maintains a drug‑free workplace

Annual salary range: $44,825 – $77,617. 5% increase for qualified mental health professionals. Excellent fringe benefits.
