Company Description Eco Solutions, Inc. is an environmental planning firm with over 20 years of experience supporting a wide range of ecological and regulatory projects. The team specializes in living shoreline creation, environmental permitting, endangered species surveys, wetland delineations, and NPDES management.

Position open: Eco Solutions seeks a motivated and caring individual to serve as Permit Coordinator
. Position will involve preparation of permit application documents, client communication, inspections of project sites and other associated field work. Applicant must be organized, detail oriented, have good writing skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ideal candidates will love the lands and waters of Baldwin and Mobile County and want to help with the protection of those natural resources.

Job is located in Daphne, AL. This is a full time in person position.

Your

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Permit Applications – residential and commercial environmental permitting, mitigation/conservation banking, natural habitat restoration, water resources and clean water resource protection.
  • Assist in environmental permitting and compliance at the local, state, and federal level.
  • Assist in communications with clients and regulators.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, including scopes of work, fee estimates, project set-up and execution of work.
Education, Experience and Skills Needed:
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Must have attention to detail, proofreading skills and be highly organized.
  • Ability to work on collaborative problem-solving with clients, and teammates.
  • Requires flexibility as needed for project and fieldwork.
  • Work experience in environmental science, or closely related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Especially Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
  • Experience with CAD and ARCGIS are a plus
  • Must have a passion for the protection and health of the natural resources found along the Northern Gulf Coast

Compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.

    Summary:

    Regular full-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans. Regular full-time will receive nine paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will accrue 5 days of vacation per year and be eligible for verified paid sick time.
