Join a respected pharmacy operation in Daphne, Alabama where you ll oversee 1st shift pharmacy operations, support technicians, and manage non-sterile compounding workflows.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Oversee 1st shift pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality patient care
- Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and clinical standards
- Oversee non-sterile compounding activities and ensure documentation and procedures meet regulatory expectations
- Provide patient counseling on prescription and OTC medications, including usage, precautions, and potential side effects
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during 1st shift operations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve therapy questions, insurance issues, and potential drug interactions
Skills And Abilities
- Strong regulatory knowledge and commitment to compliance
- Ability to lead and support pharmacy technicians
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills
- Pharmacy degree: BS Pharmacy or PharmD
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Alabama
- Experience or strong interest in non-sterile compounding
