Position Summary

If you re a Licensed Pharmacist who enjoys leading a team and making sure every prescription is accurate, compliant, and patient-focused, this is a strong opportunity. Join a respected pharmacy operation in Daphne, Alabama where you ll oversee 1st shift pharmacy operations, support technicians, and manage non-sterile compounding workflows.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversee 1st shift pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality patient care
  • Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and clinical standards
  • Oversee non-sterile compounding activities and ensure documentation and procedures meet regulatory expectations
  • Provide patient counseling on prescription and OTC medications, including usage, precautions, and potential side effects
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during 1st shift operations
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve therapy questions, insurance issues, and potential drug interactions
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and commitment to compliance
  • Ability to lead and support pharmacy technicians
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills
Education & Experience
  • Pharmacy degree: BS Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of Alabama
  • Experience or strong interest in non-sterile compounding
