About the RoleWe are hiring a staff pharmacist to support second shift at our pharmacy.
Responsibilities- Prepares and assists the pharmacy team in the preparation of medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders.
- Dispenses medications.
- Assists in the maintenance of records.
- Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing with the State.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards for this position.
- Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, the DEA and the FDA.
- Must have an active Alabama license in good standing.
- Parenteral license required.
- Sterile compounding experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with supervision and maintain courteous and professional composure.
- Ability to work cooperatively with both pharmacists and technicians.
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are targeting $65/hour. Must work 2nd shift
