Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Daphne AL 36526
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark at local stores. Your responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory levels, supporting seasonal resets and installations, and, occasionally, working with other products from partner companies.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, and other coverages.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 7–11 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Document status, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising activities through the technology platform. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during major holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas). May be required to work on the holiday itself.
- Department resets: Assist with installations and other tasks such as building fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may require evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed within the network.
Work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms requires lifting, pulling, and carrying cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. The role involves kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device to read and interpret documents.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
