Store Associate

Position Summary:

As a Retail Store Associate at CVS Health, you will provide excellent customer service, manage cashier duties, support pharmacy operations, and promote CVS services in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and demonstrating compassion and care.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items.
• Perform cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
  • Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
  • Close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and reading small details.

• Previous experience in retail or customer service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Anticipated weekly hours: 25

  Part time
• Pay range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
